HOW MANY PACKAGES DO YOU OFFER?

We offer several bar packages and allow our clients the option to customize their own bar package as well. WHAT DOES THE BAR PACKAGE PRICE INCLUDE?

Each of our full bar packages comes complete with all the liquor, beer, wine, ice and extensive array of mixers and garnishes that allows us to provide cocktails from Martinis to Manhattans. All gear such as coolers, ice tubs, wine display tubs, bar mats, beverage napkins,  straws, plastic cups and necessary bar tools and equipment is also included.

WHAT TYPE OF BAR AND GLASSWARE ARE PROVIDED?

Our bar packages do not include a physical bar or glassware. However, we have a full inventory of standard and specialty bars, glassware, and lounge furniture that may be rented for any event. Just give us a call and one of our sales managers can arrange all your rental needs. HOW MANY BARTENDERS DO I NEED?

For a basic bar package, we suggest one bartender for every 50-75 guests. If your event will feature multiple bar locations, champagne toasts or distributed drinks we strongly recommend at least one bartender for every 50 guests. Our event managers will recommend the appropriate number based on your specific event, as every event is different.

WHAT IS THE ATTIRE FOR YOUR BARTENDERS?

Our fully trained bar staff will arrive in uniformed attire attire and will be dressed in pressed black pants, black button-down shirts and black neck ties for the duration of the event. We are happy to incorporate any additional attire that you would like at an additional cost.

HOW EARLY WILL THE BARTENDERS ARRIVE PRIOR TO THE START OF THE EVENT?

Bartenders will arrive 1.5 – 2.5 hours before the event begins depending on the package that is chosen as well as the vent venue. Different packages and venues have different set up requirements.

ARE THERE ANY HIDDEN OR ADDITIONAL FEES WITH YOUR PACKAGES?

We do not charge any gratuities or service fees in addition to our package prices. All packages are subject to state and local taxes totaling 10.5% of total package cost. An administrative fee of 3% will be added to all credit card payments.

CAN WE HAVE A CASH BAR?

ICEBOX does not dot do cash bars for private functions. However, for public events, and ticketed please inquire and will be happy to discuss our offerings.

WHAT HAPPENS IF A PRODUCT RUNS OUT DURING THE EVENT?

ICEBOX provides high pars on all alcohol we provide in order to never run out. In the event we are running low on any product, the bar manager will have more of the product delivered from the ICEBOX warehouse which is open 24 hours a day, with team members on call 24/7.

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE LEFTOVER ALCOHOL AT THE END OF THE EVENT?

Our insurance policy prevents us from leaving any remaining alcohol at an event. While we can’t leave the additional alcohol, we do guarantee never to run out of alcohol at your event.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE EVENT RUNS LONGER THAN EXPECTED?

We understand that your event may run longer than the contracted time. A fee is charged per person for each additional hour. This fee varies depending on the bar package you have selected, however they generally run between $3 and $5 per person. There is also a $30 charge per bartender for each additional hour.

IS ICEBOX INSURED?

Yes, we are fully insured with a 5 Million dollar liquor, general liability and workers compensation policy.   For large special events and Festivals we can customize our insurance policy up to 25 Million.   All events where we provide and serve alcohol for are covered under this policy. DOES ICEBOX TRAVEL OUTSIDE OF CHARLESTON?

ICEBOX travels all over the East Coast as well as large events nationally. Additional delivery fee’s and staffing travel and expense fee’s will be added depending on the distance. Please inquire with one of our sales representatives.

AM I RESPONSIBLE FOR TIPPING THE BARTENDERS AT MY EVENT?

Gratuity is not necessary but is always appreciated. It is our policy to never display tip jars or include gratuity in our contract. If you would like to tip the bartenders, we can add the gratuity to your final invoice or you can give cash tips at the event.

WHAT IS YOUR BOOKING AGREEMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY?

A 50% deposit is required to book your event. Deposits are refundable up to 30 days prior to the event date. Any event canceled less than 30 but more than 7 days of the event date are subject to the forfeiture of their 50% deposit. Final guest counts are due 7 days prior to the event along with final payment and event details. Any guests added less than 7 days of the event date may incur an additional charge. Any event canceled within 7 days of the event date are subject to the entire contracted amount.  Special arrangements and contracts made for large format events and Festivals.  Please speak with our sales staff for details.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE EVENT IS CANCELLED DUE TO ACTS OF GOD?

In the unlikely event that your event must be canceled due to an Act of God, the initial deposit amount of 50% is nonrefundable, however it may be applied to a future event. (Acts of God include: hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, flooding, snow storms)
